My Travel Story
Chantelle completed a degree in Retail Management at Ryerson University in 2008. During that time, she had the privilege to study at Essec a well known marketing university in Paris France. It was at the moment she knew she was destined for a life of travel.
From travelling to Spain and staying in a hotel for 5 euros per night to enjoying time in Milan at a super exclusive hotel and everything in between, she spent 6 months of her life enjoying the sights and sounds of Europe with at times a big budget and other times with dimes.
After leaving the corporate world and starting her first business at the age of 23, Chantelle fulfilled her life long commitment to include travel in her daily life. She joined Durham Travel as a junior agent working under senior agents that mentored her and gave her the ability to be a well versed agent. In 2012, she made the decision to focus on luxury south hotels which lead to the specialization in romance and destination weddings. She is a Wedding on Waters specialist with Hard Rock Hotels and in 2017 won the prestigious quad diamond agent award with Karisma Hotels making the most qualified Gourmet Inclusive Agent in Durham Region and surrounding areas.
Recently, Chantelle along with John and Sarah from Durham Travel have announced their partnership in a new Romance and Destination Wedding Division.
