My Travel Story
My travel industry career began in 1970 where I learned the art of Independent VIP, Cruise, Vacation & Corporate travel from one of Canada’s leading Travel Agencies.
After 3 years, I studied & attained my C.T.C. (Certified Travel Counsellor) accreditation and later upgraded my designate with studies and a thesis for my current status of C.T.M. (Certified Travel Management).
In 1975, I joined a large Travel Corporation and became their South Western Ontario regional Manager to oversee their 6 offices. In 1978 I returned to Toronto to head their 1980 Olympic Travel arrangements for Canada for the Moscow & Lake Placid Olympics as well as the Panamanian Games in Puerto Rico.
Thereafter, I decided to become a Partner in 2 Travel Agencies, specializing in Vacation and the other Corporate Travel, leading teams of highly trained & knowledgeable staff to secure many high-profiled Corporations’ travel accounts, while looking after the entire VIP travel for their many executives.
After semi-retiring, I moved to Oshawa & joined Durham Travel where I am looking to expand my Home-based Travel Agency business…I will come to you or if you wish, come to my home to conduct ANY type of travel in comfort.
